A Medical Nail Technician is a state-licensed Nail Technician who has completed advanced training in techniques to trim toenails, reduce calluses and nail thickness. They are educated in how to perform cosmetic pedicures safely on clients who are chronically ill and to recognize "out-of-normal" nails for referral to podiatrists. They have interned with a Podiatrist and fulfilled specific skills requirements during this time. A Medical Technician also has extensive training on the cleaning, sanitation and sterilization of tools and implements.

An e-file (electric file) is used during all of our services. This is a specialized tool created specifically for working on skin and nails. It allows us to be extra thorough and detailed in our work while being non-invasive and gentle.

A waterless pedicure is a pedicure that does not use water in any of the process. A waterless or dry pedicure works by doing all the treatment for clients but without needing to soak the feet in the water as part of the process.

Toenail Restoration is a cosmetic toenail correction that restores damaged, missing, or fungal toenails.

No, all the services performed by the medical nail tech are cosmetic and are not covered under insurance. If you have a more serious foot condition that needs the care of the Podiatrist, it may qualify under your insurance.

A medical nail technician is more highly skilled and trained that can assess your feet for potential problems, identify any visible issues, and recommend a reliable course of action for treating the issue.

We service a range of client's with toenail fungus, athletes' feet, itching, peeling, thick & long toenails, dry skin, callouses, and tired feet that just want to be pampered.

The medi-pedi treatment is performed by Shayna Boyd. After an evaluation on your feet, we dedicate our time to ensure we provide the feet with cleaning, nail trimming, and polishing, etc.
